GPA and PUD rezone applications to allow for the development of 6,355 acres of Arizona State Trust Land located west of Hwy 17 between the CAP canal and Loop 303. NorthPark will provide a historic donation of approximately 2,095 acres of open space to the City of Phoenix to expand the Sonoran Preserve and allow for public access to open space for residents of the community and the greater area. NorthPark will develop with a "Park-to-Park" concept that established significant open space requirements within the planned community and connects private open space to public open space and preserve lands. The project will connect the planned an current development of the TSMC campus north of Loop 303 to the residential communities to the south of the CAP canal.
